Michael Gerard Tyson is a retired professional boxer from the United States who fought from 1985 until 2005. In the history of boxing, Tyson ranks among the best heavyweights. Tyson was given the nicknames "Iron Mike" and "Kid Dynamite" in his early career before becoming known as "The Baddest Man on the Planet" subsequently. He was the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1987 and 1990. Twelve of Tyson's first 19 knockout victories occurred in the first round of fights.
