About (Profile/Biography):
Albert Einstein is a well-known German-born theoretical physicist, born in the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. His family relocated to Munich, where his father and uncle established the Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein &Cie Company to produce direct-current electrical equipment. When Albert was five years old, he attended the Catholic Elementary School for his first educational experience. He left Germany after completing advanced primary and secondary education. Einstein began displaying early indications of a deep aptitude and skill for mathematics. He used to construct mechanical models and devices during this time, but those were merely for fun.
Career:
In 1921: For his contributions to theoretical physics, particularly his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics.
In 1929: The German Physical Society awarded Einstein the Max Planck prize in Berlin.
In 1936: Einstein completed much research on relativity and the photoelectric effect, earning him the Franklin Medal from the Franklin Institute.
In 2005: The "World Year of Physics" was established to mark the 100th anniversary of publishing the "annus mirabilis" papers by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics.
Achievements and Awards:
Einstein holds the title of "Father of Modern Physics." Interestingly, his surname, which is used worldwide, has been determined to imply "genius."
Berlin's German Physical Society awarded Einstein the Max Planck Award in 1929.
