John Clause, a well-known American scientist, is regarded as one of the fathers of quantum mechanics. On November 4, 1939, he was born in Washington, D.C. His creation of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality, which is frequently used to evaluate the predictions of quantum mechanics, is only one of many significant contributions he has made to the area.

In 1961, Clauser graduated with a physics bachelor's degree from Haverford College.

From the University of California, Berkeley, he received his PhD in physics in 1966.

John Clauser Career:

Clauser worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 1966 to 1968 after receiving his PhD.

He started working as an assistant professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley in 1968.

Since then, he has served as a member of the University of California, Berkeley faculty. He is currently a Professor Emeritus of Physics.
