Amit Trivedi was born into a Gujarati family with a traditional culture. When he was little, all he knew when it came to music was devotional music and Gujarati folk songs. The beginning of his career started in 2008 when he became a film composer for Bollywood movies like Aamir. He’s also an impressive singer and lyricist, but singing is what made everyone notice him. For his work in Dev.D, he won multiple awards including the 2010 National Film Award for Best Music Direction.
