Krist Anthony Novoselic was born in a small town called Novoselic, Serbia, on May 16, 1965. Krist Anthony Novoselic's career has spanned over three decades, and he has been active in the arts and activism. A co-founder and bassist for the rock band Nirvana, he was one of the band's original members. As a result of Novoselic's and Cobain's cooperation, including the recruitment of drummer Aaron Burckhard, the band Nirvana was formed in 1987. The Seattle grunge scene emerged in the late 1980s as a result of Nirvana's participation in it, and their debut album Bleach was released in 1989.
Krist Novoselic Career:
As well as playing drums, Cobain played guitar, and Novoselic covered Creedence Clearwater Revival in a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band in which Cobain sang and played guitar as well.
As the 1990s wore on, Buzz Osborne, Melvins' singer and guitarist encouraged Novoselic and Cobain to check out a punk band called Scream that was on the rise.
In the spring of 1991, the band entered Sound City Studios in Los Angeles to begin recording Nevermind. "Polly," a song written by Novoselic, was one of the first songs he wrote.
The album Incesticide, which was released in 1992, was a compilation album that featured Novoselic and the rest of Nirvana.
A new album by Nirvana called In Utero was released in September 1993 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
A Venezuelan musician named Yva Las Vegas founded the band Sweet 75 together in 1995.
Upon joining Foo Fighters in 1994, Grohl formed a new band called The Foo Fighters.

As part of Nirvana's preparations for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, Novoselic and Grohl appeared on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon as special guests.
