Priya Kumar, an Indian motivational speaker, and writer by profession was born on 4th March 1974. A novelist and self-help author, she has authored 12 books. Generally, her works deal with spiritual and inspirational themes. In 2010, she was nominated for a Vodafone Crossword Book Award for her book “License to Live” (2010). The Final Call, starring Sakshi Tanwar, Arjun Rampal, and Javed Jaffrey, was adapted from her novel “I Will Go with You” in 2019. At the age of 22, she became a motivational speaker.

2010: The motivational memoir License to Live, which she referred to as an 'inspiration thriller' and a 'spiritual fiction, was published in 2010 by Atria Books.
2014: Priya Kumar published "The Inspiring Journey of a Hero," a biography of India's Om Prakash Munjal, founder of Hero Cycles. Penguin Books published it in 2014.
2015: Priya Kumar wrote the suspense thriller "I Will Go with You" in 2015. The plot involves a pilot deciding to commit suicide on a flight.
2019: "The Final Call" will return in April 2019 with a new season written by Priya.
2017: ZEE5 announced an adaptation of her book "The Wise Man Said" in January 2019.
