Anne Marie Sweeney, born November 4, 1957, is an American businesswoman. She’s holding down a lot of positions right now. You can find her as a member of the board of directors at Netflix, LEGO A/S, and also being a part of the Mayo Clinic and J.P. Getty Trust as a member for their board of trustees. Prior to that she was the co-chairman of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney-ABC Television Group while being head honcho at Disney Channel from 1996 to 2014.

•   Serving as chairman and CEO, Sweeney was with FX Networks Inc from 1993 to 1996.
•   Before her rise to power though, she spent 12 years in Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite.
•   Then in February 1996 she joined The Walt Disney Company as president of Disney Channel.
•   From October 2000 to April 2004 she served as president for ABC Cable Networks Group.
•   But it didn't stop there, finally having been named Co-Chair Disney Media Networks and president of the Disney/ABC Television Group in April 2004.
•   Time moves on though, and by March 2014 she announced that it was time for her to depart from The Walt Disney Company and become a television director.
