Puneri Paltan took a good lead at halftime, but the Bengaluru Bulls stormed back in the second half to defeat their opponent by 11 points.
First and Second Half
In the first half, Pune’s defense tried to keep Bengaluru Bulls captain Pawan Kumar Sehrawat quiet. But the Bengaluru Bulls skipper returned in the second half and finished with a Super 10.
Chandran Ranjit backed him up with six raid points and Aman and Saurabh Nandal, the corner defenders, got a total of seven tackle points.
Puneri Paltan Captain Vishal Bhardwaj scored four tackle points, while the rest failed to impress. With the six raid points, Asiam Inamdar was the best raider.
Points Table
Puneri Paltan has dropped to the bottom of the points table after scoring only five points in their first four games. On both sides of the mat, Coach Anup Kumar’s side has fought for consistency.
The raiding unit hasn’t delivered the team’s energy to win games, while the defense has been simple to score.
In the points table, Bengaluru Bulls are just three points behind league leaders Dabang Delhi. They were on the backside for most of last night’s game against the Telugu Titans and were down three points with under a minute to go.
With a win on Sunday, they’d like to get back on track and climb to the top of the table.
