Take Me Home 2026 - Character Quiz

Take Me Home follows Anna, a 38-year-old Korean adoptee with a cognitive disability who lives with her aging parents in Florida. Their household depends on a fragile exchange of care: Anna supports her parents as their needs grow, while her mother Joan and father Bob help Anna navigate everyday life. When a severe heat wave exposes Bob’s worsening dementia and Joan dies, Anna’s routine and the family’s care network begin to collapse. Anna’s older sister Emily arrives from New York and faces the difficult reality of helping a family whose old arrangement can no longer hold. The 2026 feature, written and directed by Liz Sargent and expanded from her 2023 Sundance short, explores disability, caregiving, family responsibility, independence, and the search for community. This character quiz uses Anna, Bob, Emily, and Joan as four personality anchors, turning their different ways of handling care, change, responsibility, affection, and independence into choices.

When the future feels uncertain, what would you rely on most to decide what should happen next?

If grief changes the balance of a family, what would matter most when trying to move forward?

When someone seems capable but still needs care, how would you balance protection with respect?
