Steve Austin is a well-known famous American wrestler born in Austin, Texas. When his parents, James, and Beverly Anderson, divorced, he was about a year old.
Steve attended "Edna High School" and spent most of his boyhood there in Edna, Texas. He received a full scholarship to attend the "University of North Texas." He soon left to work on a loading dock in Houston, Texas.
He enlisted at the "Dallas Sportatorium" in 1989 after discovering a genuine enthusiasm for wrestling.

In 1989, Steve participated in a televised bout of "World Class Championship Wrestling."
