Kevin Owens is a well-known Canadian professional wrestler born in Canada. French-Canadian professional wrestler Kevin Yanick Steen is currently affiliated with World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (d/b/a WWE). He works under the ring name Kevin Owens under the WWE brand Raw. He started his wrestling career at 16, and before joining WWE, he accomplished several exploits while competing under his own identity. He has 14 years of experience competing significantly on the independent circuit, where he accomplished several exploits, such as three-peat victories in the PWG World Championship for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG).
Career:
In 2000, his 16th birthday, Kevin competed in his first wrestling match in L'Assomption, Quebec. After four years of wrestling for Rougeau Promotion, he competed for other Canadian promotions.
Kevin made history for the promotion by being the first titleholder to defend the title abroad.
Kevin successfully defended the title against Roderick Strong on October 30, 2004, for Jersey All-Pro Wrestling in Rahway, New Jersey.
In 2018: Kevin returned to Raw after Stephanie McMahon, Raw's on-screen commissioner, gave him a contract.

Kevin has won the NXT Championship once, the United States Championship three times, the Intercontinental Championship twice, and the Universal Championship once in his time in the WWE.
