2000: Cena appeared for the first time on World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television in a match against Mikey Richardson in which he assumed the semi-robotic character of 'The Prototype.'
2002: Cena made his TV debut on WWE's 'SmackDown!' Kurt Angle challenged him in the match, and he won.
2004: The Big Show eliminated him after he made it to the final six of the annual Royal Rumble.
