American soccer player Christen Annemarie Press was born on December 29, 1988, and now plays for Angel City FC and the US national team. • Christen Press was selected fourth overall in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Washington Freedom. In the 64th minute of magicJack's 2–0 win over the Atlanta Beat, she scored her first goal.
• Christen Press signed with Damallsvenskan champions Tyresö FF in Stockholm in early 2013. It was her second straight regular-season goal. Press scored four goals in a 10–2 victory over Sunnanå SK.
• Christen Press scored two goals against Portland on April 25.
• Christen Press was traded to the Houston Dash on January 18, 2018, along with Carli Lloyd and Samantha Kerr. The press had multiple offers in Sweden and would not be joining the Dash, the club was informed on March 10.
