A native of Bajamar, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Pedri González López was born on November 25, 2002, and his family moved to Tegueste when he was 3. As a center-back,Pedri began his career at UD Tegueste. After signing for CF Juventud Laguna at the age of 12, Pedri played there until 2018. In addition to playing for Spain's national football team, Pedri plays for La Liga club Barcelona as a central midfielder.
Career:
• 2018: The former Juventud Laguna player joined Las Palmas' youth setup.
• 2019: As a 16-year-old rookie, Pedro made his professional debut on 18 August 2019, when he started in a 0–1 home loss to Huesca.
• 2019: With effect from 1 July 2020, Barcelona reached an agreement with Las Palmas for the transfer of Pedri on 2 September 2019.
• A 5–1 win over Ferencváros in the group stage on 20 October marked Pedri's debut in the UEFA Champions League.
