Larry Fitzgerald, a well-known American football wide receiver, was born in Minnesota. The first team "All-Big East" was named after Larry Fitzgerald on it. While undergoing care for breast cancer, Larry lost his mom to a brain hemorrhage. Later, in her honor, Larry created the "Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund."In addition to the University of Pittsburgh, he also attended the College in Minnesota.
