Kevin De Bruyne was born on June 28, 1991. Currently playing for Premier League club Manchester City and playing for the Belgium national team as a midfielder, he is a Belgian professional footballer. The term "complete footballer" has often been used by football pundits to describe him. When he was a regular player for Genk when they won the Belgian Pro League in 2010–11, De Bruyne was one of the key players in the team. A loan spell with Werder Bremen followed his 2012 move to English club Chelsea.
Career:
2005: His career began at KVV Drongen, his hometown club. After joining Gent in 2002, he moved to Genk in 2005.
On 9 May 2009: Bruyne debuted for Genk against Charleroi, losing 3–0.
The Belgian under-18, under-19, and under-21 team capped De Bruyne. 11 August 2010 marked his debut for the Belgian senior team.
2012: De Bruyne signed for Chelsea and Genk, the winter transfer deadline day, for an estimated £7 million fee.
A season-long loan deal was announced by Chelsea for De Bruyne to join Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
2014: During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Kevin De Bruyne was named to Belgium's squad
A fee of £18 million (€22 million) was paid by Wolfsburg for de Bruyne. In Wolfsburg's 3-1 loss to Hannover 96 on 25 January 2014, he made his debut.
2016: A man of the match award was given to De Bruyne after City won the first Manchester derby 2–1 on 10 September 2016.
2021: Belgians defeated Denmark 2–1 in their second match of UEFA Euro 2020 on 17 June 2021, with De Bruyne scoring the winning goal.
