Gordon Daniel Hayward was born on 23rd March 1990. He plays basketball professionally for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Hayward previously played for the Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics. In 2017 he was selected to the NBA All-Star Game for the seventh time in his career with the Jazz. The free agent joined the Celtics but suffered a broken tibia and dislocated ankle five minutes into the season opener and was ruled out. Hayward played two more seasons with the Celtics before being traded to the Hornets in November 2020.
