Antony Matheus dos Santos was born on 24 February 2000. Brazilian professional footballer Antony is a winger for Manchester United of the Premier League and for the Brazil national team. Antony graduated from the So Paulo academy and made his senior debut in 2018. He spent two seasons abroad at Ajax, winning two Eredivisie championships and one KNVB cup during that time. He became the highest-paid Eredivisie player after his performances led to a €95 million (£82 million) transfer to Manchester United.

2010: So Paulo offered him a contract after spotting him playing football at a young age
2018: As a substitute for Helinho, he made his first-team debut against Grêmio in a 1-1 draw.
2019: Ahead of the 2019 Toulon Tournament, he was named to the Brazilian under-23 squad on 15 May 2019.
2020: Anthony started for So Paulo against Peruvian side Binacional in the Copa Libertadores.
2020: Antony scored the only goal in a 1-0 away win over Sparta Rotterdam to make his debut for the club. The 27 October match against Atalanta was his Champions League debut.
2021: As a member of the Brazil under-23 squad for the 2020 Olympics, Antony was appointed on 17 June 2021.
2021: In a World Cup qualifying match against Venezuela on 7 October 2021, Antony made his debut for the Brazilian national team.
2022: Antony's departure from Ajax was a subject of dispute in the months leading up to his injury return against Fortuna Sittard.
2022: Ajax confirmed the transfer of Antony to Manchester United on 30 August 2022.
A 3–1 home league win over Arsenal overshadowed his debut on 4 September.
2022: During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he was named to the squad on 7 November.
