Jessica Ellen Cornish, better known as Jessie J, was born on 27 March 1988. Her stage career began at age 11 when she took part in Whistle Down the Wind on the West End. Before signing with Gut Records and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, she attended the BRIT School. The Voice UK and The Voice Kids UK have all featured her as a coach. As the first non-Chinese contestant to win the Hunan TV reality show Singer (previously called I Am a Singer), Jessie J received recognition in China after winning the sixth season.

2006–2010: Jessie J Career Beginnings
• In 2005, Jessie J signed with Gut Records, but the company went bankrupt before the album was released.
• Jessie J has also written lyrics for artists such as Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, including "Party in the USA.". She was part of a girl band, Soul Deep, for two years until she decided that the group would not succeed.
2010–2012: Jessie J Who You Are
• Her debut studio album was completed on 19 January 2011 after she began recording it in 2005. She told us that "Big White Room" was inspired by an incident that happened to her when she was 11 years old, even though she wrote it when she was 17 years old in the hospital where a ward mate, a little boy, had died.
• Her debut album, Who You Are, was released on 25 February 2011. The album was first charted at number two on the UK Albums Chart on 6 March 2011. Many countries charted the album in the top ten, and the US charted at number 11.
2012–2016: Jessie J Alive And Sweet Talker
• Her second studio album was announced on 31 January 2012. Also, she said she was looking forward to collaborating with many artists that year, possibly including some of her fellow The Voice coaches.
• Jessie J sang the theme song for Ice Age: Collision Course, written by Alexander Geringas and Nikki Leonti, featuring Tha Vill. The song wasn't released as a single or included in the soundtrack.
2021–Present: Jessie J Upcoming Sixth Studio Album
• Jessie J released "I Want Love" in 2021, followed by a diagnosis of Ménière's disease and a miscarriage.
• Her sixth album was recorded, but she decided to scrap it entirely after deciding that it "didn't feel right" in an interview on Steven Bartlett's podcast Diary of a CEO on 2 May 2022.
Jessie J Charitable Activities
• Jessie J performed "Nobody's Perfect" at Children in Need Rocks Manchester to raise money for Children in Need 2011 at the Manchester Arena in November 2011.
• Jessie J supports the UK children's charity Believe in Magic, which grants wishes to terminally ill children.
• Jessie J performed "Laserlight" on stage with 7-year-old leukemia victim Daniel Sullivan in July 2012. The following month, Sullivan passed away.
