One of the most famous political leaders in history, Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel, was born on 31 October 1875 and died on 15 December 1950. The name Sardar was commonly used to refer to him. From 1947 to 1950, Sardar was India's first Deputy Prime Minister and first Home Minister. He was a lawyer, politician, barrister, and statesman. It is approximately 182 meters (597 ft) tall and was dedicated to him on 31 October 2018 by the Indian government at the cost of USD420 million.
Career:
As early as September 1917: Patel addressed Indians in Borsad, encouraging them to sign Gandhi's petition to demand self-rule from Britain.
From 1920 to 1945: He was president of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee.
In 1928: A famine and steep tax hikes in Bardoli forced Patel to return to the independence struggle.
In 1931: Congress passed the "Fundamental Rights and Economic Policy" resolution under Sardar Patel's chairmanship.
In 1942 and 1945: Patel and the Congress Working Committee were imprisoned in Ahmednagar's fort.
In April 2015: It was revealed that Patel, while Home Minister and Nehru were among the officials involved in spying on the family of Subhas Chandra Bose with government authorization.

Unknown facts:
Members of Parliament honored Patel in his twilight years. As an honorary doctor of law, he was awarded degrees from Nagpur University, Allahabad University, and Banaras Hindu University in November 1948.
