Raine Maida CM was born on February 18, 1970. His most notable role is as lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the alternative rock band Our Lady Peace. He is known for his unique countertenor nasal falsetto singing voice and cryptic and poetry-influenced lyrics. His Lady Peace occasionally performs with him playing certain instruments, including the acoustic guitar. In 2001, guitarist Mike Turner left Our Lady Peace, leaving only Maida as the remaining original member.
Raine Maida Career:
• Raine Maida began his solo career in 2006, releasing The Hunters Lullaby in 2007. In 2009, Our Lady Peace released their seventh studio album, Burn Burn, which he produced himself.

• Raine Maida released the free EP Pachamama on June 22, 2012, featuring three new tracks and cover art available for download on Maida's official website.

• On February 8, 2013, CBC Music released the official lyric video for "Montreal," the album's first single. We All Get Lighter was released on May 14, 2013. "Bury Me with a Gun" was not included on the album.
