Don Felder Career:
Early in January 1974, Felder was called into the Eagles' studio for a session where he contributed slide guitar to the song "Good Day in Hell" and played some guitar solos on the song "Already Gone".
Hotel California was the first album released by the Eagles after the lineup change, and it ended up becoming a major international hit on account of its popularity. The album's title track, "Hotel California", the song Felder submitted to the record label, is the result of Felder's submission of "16 or 17 tracks".

Felder released the first album of his own, Airborne, in 1983, which was his first solo release.
As a result, Felder declined Henley's offer to be on tour with him and didn't go on tour with him in 1985, citing both dissatisfactions with the pay as well as a desire to avoid going on tour with Henley.
A number of Felder's television credits include hosting FTV, a musical comedy show of the same name, a parody of MTV, and the music videos of the day, which aired from 1985 to 1986.
