David Paich Career:
The late 1960s to early 1970s: Paich begins his music career as a session musician, working with artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts.
1976: Paich co-founds Toto with a group of fellow session musicians. The band quickly becomes known for its tight musicianship and its innovative fusion of rock, pop, R&B, and jazz.
