Darren Arthur "Dizzy" Reed, was born on June 18, 1963, is an American musician and actor who occasionally appears on stage. Guns N' Roses have been using him as a keyboardist since 1990. He tours, records, and performs with them all the time. He was not present at his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction as a member of Guns N' Roses in 2012. However, his Guns N' Roses bandmate Richard Fortus, ex-Whitesnake member Marco Mendoza, ex-Mötley Crüe frontman John Corabi, and session drummer Brian Tichy formed the Australian-American supergroup The Dead Daisies with him.
Dizzy Reed Career:
• Dizzy Reed pursued a music career in Los Angeles as an adult. His five-year tenure with the club band The Wild dates back to the late 1980s.
• Dizzy Reed met Guns N' Roses in 1985 while rehearsing with his band, The Wild. The two Use Your Illusion albums were recorded in 1990, and he was invited by his friend Axl Rose to join their subsequent tour.
• Dizzy Reed left The Dead Daisies in 2015 along with Guns N' Roses guitarist Richard Fortus, who focused on the band.
• Dizzy Reed played keyboards on Fat Mike's solo effort "You're Welcome" by Cokie The Clown, a solo effort by NOFX frontman Cokie The Clown.
• Dizzy Reed sought admission to a college fraternity well beyond the traditional age for induction and was accepted into the Cornell University chapter of Zeta Psi on January 22, 2006.
