Fali Sam Nariman is a well-known lawyer from India. He’s spent his time serving in the Supreme Court since 1971 and was also the Bar Association of India’s President from 1991 to 2010. Anywhere around the world, he is recognized as a great jurist when it comes to global arbitration. In 2018, he received an award called the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence in Public Administration. Not only has he presented arguments on a number of important cases, he is considered one of India's best constitutional attorneys. The country had him serve as their additional solicitor general between May 1972 and June 1975.

In 1971: He received the title of Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, which he still holds today.
In 1994: Nariman became President of International Council for Commercial Arbitration
From 1995 to 1997: He presided over the International Commission of Jurists' executive committee.
In 1999: Nariman was chosen to serve on the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development's advisory board.
In 2014: He obtained bail for former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha, who had previously been rejected for bail.

In 1991: Nariman was awarded the Padma Bhushan.

The Gujarat Government kept him on for the Narmada rehabilitation project, but he resigned shortly after multiple Christians were attacked and Bible copies were burned. He was also seen in a number of major cases, like Golak Nath, S.P. Gupta, the T.M.A. Pai Foundation, and others.
