Bryan Stevenson, a well-known American lawyer, was born in Delaware. An American attorney, clinical lecturer, and social activist, Bryan Stevenson has devoted his life to fighting for the rights of minorities and the disadvantaged. Growing up in a segregated neighborhood, he was exposed to all forms of discrimination. Stevenson discovered how the integrated society had been denied equal treatment in the justice system while working as an intern at the "Southern Center for Human Rights." In Montgomery, Alabama, he started the "Equal Justice Initiative" to establish uniform legal counsel and get rid of the death penalty.
