Anjana Om Kashyap is a Senior Executive Editor of the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak. She completed her honours in Botany from the Delhi University. Anjana appeared in the All India Pre-Medical Test but could not pass. She did her Post graduation from Delhi school of Social work, Ranchi. Anjana began her journalism career by joining public broadcaster Doordarshan. Since her childhood, she has had a quality of solid leadership, and she became the head girl of the school and president of the college hostel. Anjana married the Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police Mangesh Kashyap.

Career

In 2000: She completed her diploma in journalism from Jamia Milia Islamia.

In 2001: Anjana joined Hindi News Channel zee news, and she got the producing role.

In 2007: The Reporter got her breakthrough when she joined the Hindi news channel News 24 and got an evening debate show as an Anchor.

In 2012: Anjana joined Star news, which was shut a month later then she had to follow her immediate Ex boss Supriya Prasad from News 24 to Aaj Tak.

In 2019: She was only one of the few reporters who allowed an interview by Narendra Modi.

Awards and Achievement

Anjana received the Indian Television Award in the category of Best Anchor.

She received the India Today Chairman’s Excellence Award.

Unknown Facts

Anjana always wanted to be an Anchor, and the Zee News found her deficiency in speaking fluently and employed her in producing roles. Later on, she successfully passed the auditions and was occasionally worked as an anchor for special programs.

She appeared for the UPSC exam many times but failed to pass.
