Zachary E. Posenis a fashion designer from the USA. He went to Saint Ann's School, a private school in Brooklyn, and worked as Nicole Miller's intern during his sophomore year. He also received a Scholastic Art and Writing Award when he was a teen. At the age of 16, he joined at Parsons The New School for Design's pre-college programme. In 1999, he earned his degree from Saint Ann's. Richard Martin, a curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, served as Posen's advisor for three years.

In 2000: Posen was given a significant career opportunity after a garment he created for Naomi Campbell was traded between various industry insiders, including the actress Paz de la Huerta.
In 2001: Posen established an atelier in his parents' living room as soon as he got back to New York, and they granted him a $15 USD allowance.
In 2004: Posen has invested in Sean John's high-end urban fashion brand.
In 2008: Her partnership with Target resulted in the Zac Posen for Target capsule collection, which debuted in 75 shops across Australia.
