Ellen J. Kullman was born on born January 22, 1956 in United States business executive. Carbon (company) has been led by her since November 2019. In addition to being the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of "E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company" ("DuPont"), she was also a former director of General Motors. She was ranked 31st on Forbes' 2014 list of the 100 Most Powerful Women. October 16, 2015, marked Kullman's retirement from DuPont.
Career:
In 1988: Kullman joined DuPont as marketing manager in the company's medical imaging division as she began her career at General Electric.
On October 1, 2008: DuPont's board of directors elected Kullman president and director and chief executive officer on January 1, 2009.
On October 30, 2009: Due to Kullman's election as Chair of the company, DuPont announced, that he would take office on December 31, 2009.
During 2011-2013: Ellen J. Kullman served on the Executive Committee of The Business Council.
On June 6, 2013: Kullman was announced as the new chairman of the US-China Business Council.
On October 5, 2015: As a result of a battle with activist investor Nelson Peltz and Trian Fund Management, his investment firm, Kullman, announced his retirement from DuPont (effective October 16, 2015).
