Rick Harrison was born on 22nd March 1965. He is an American businessman, reality TV personality, and owner of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which appears in the History series Pawn Stars. His father, Richard Benjamin Harrison, and Harrison co-owned the shop until his father died in 2018.

Harrison's father was transferred to San Diego, California when he was a two-year-old. The first epileptic seizures Harrison experienced as a child occurred at the age of eight. His bedtime led to a lifelong love of books and reading. Harrison was greatly influenced by a series of books by John D. Fitzgerald called The Great Brain, in which the main character, a ten-year-old Utah con artist named Tom D. Fitzgerald, conjures up money-making schemes to make a living.

• Rick Harrison became a spokesperson for Micro Touch One Razor, a shaving product for men, in January 2014. Harrison appeared in a television commercial promoting One Razor.

• His first wife, Kim, bore Harrison two sons, Corey and Adam, and his second wife, Tracy, bore him one son, Jake. Later, Adam became a plumber after working at a pawn shop.
• Rick Harrison, who was twice divorced, announced his engagement to Deanna Burditt, who was also twice divorced. On 21st July 2013, the couple married in Laguna Beach, California. The ceremony was performed by Counting Cars star and car expert Danny Koker, with Pawn Stars co-star Austin "Chumlee" Russell serving as ring bearer. A divorce was finalized in September 2020 between the couple.
