Donald Patrick Conroy, a famous American author, who was born on October 26, 1945, and died on March 4, 2016. A famous American author and memoirist, he wrote several books adapted into films, including The Water are Wide, The Lords of Discipline, The Prince of Tides, and The Great Santini. His work is considered a major contribution to Southern literature in the late 20th century.
Pat Conroy Career:
