Akin to his father, Brian has written several books set in the "Dune" universe, including "Dune: House Atreides," "Dune: House Harkonnen," and "Dune: House Corrino." A beloved figure in the science fiction community, Brian Herbert has written several other science fiction novels, including "The Race for God" and "The Stolen Gospels." 1969: Brian Herbert graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and English literature.
