Sridevi was an Indian actress who appeared in countless movies in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. She was a native of Meenampatti in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar district. Sridevi started performing at the age of four and made her acting debut in early 1980s Hindi films. Later, Sridevi became recognized as one of her generation's top actresses. Sridevi is regarded as one of the most significant and influential actresses in Indian movie history and was the best-paid lady in the 1980s and 1990s in the country's entertainment sector.
Career:
In 1967: Sridevi debuted in the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai as a child performer.
In 1976: In Moondru Mudichu, where she co-starred with Rajinikanth, Sridevi received her first significant break as a heroine.
In 1978: In Solva Saawan, Sridevi played the lead role in a Hindi movie that was a commercial failure.
