Which Suikoden: The Anime Character Are You? - Quiz

Suikoden: The Anime is the 2026 animated adaptation of Konami’s Suikoden II, bringing its story of friendship, war, loyalty, and difficult choices to the screen. The official anime site lists its Japanese broadcast premiere as October 3, 2026, with the first episode presented as an expanded 60-minute special. Its setting is the Dunan region, where the Highland Kingdom and the Jowston City-States are caught in a long-running political and military conflict.Show More

At the heart of the story are Riliu and Jowy, childhood friends serving in the Highland Kingdom’s Unicorn Youth Brigade. They grew up together in Kyaro with Nanami, Riliu’s adoptive older sister, and once imagined that life could return to normal after the fighting ended. Instead, the war pulls the boys into a chain of events that tests their friendship and forces each of them to decide what they believe is worth protecting.
Riliu is gentle and deeply devoted to his companions, while Jowy is thoughtful and intelligent, with a strong will shaped by family expectations. Nanami brings warmth, energy, and a protective instinct to their lives, often trying to keep her family close even as events threaten to separate them. Their contrasting personalities give the story an emotional centre beyond its battles and political rivalries.
The conflict also introduces seasoned fighters and allies from outside the boys’ childhood circle. Viktor, a bold and sociable mercenary from the Jowston City-States, is a powerful swordsman who reads people well and readily connects with others. His practical courage offers a different response to a world where ideals can collide with survival. The anime’s wider cast includes figures from both sides of the conflict, making loyalty and perspective important themes throughout.
This quiz focuses on the four characters Riliu, Jowy, Nanami, and Viktor. It is a personality match, not a trivia test: every answer is valid, and there are no right or wrong choices. Choose the response that feels most natural to you when facing pressure, protecting people, making hard decisions, or entering unfamiliar situations.
