The film stars Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, and Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i as Akuma.
At the heart of the story are Ryu and Ken, two estranged fighters who are pulled back into combat after once sharing a close connection. Their reunion is not simply about proving who is stronger. The tournament forces them to confront old tensions, personal demons, and the complicated history that has shaped them as fighters.
Their return happens because Chun-Li enters their lives with a purpose. She recruits the two fighters for the next World Warrior Tournament, drawing them into a brutal competition where powerful opponents, personal rivalries, and hidden motives are all waiting. Her mysterious involvement gives the tournament a deeper purpose than simply winning fights.
The film’s central conflict becomes more complicated when a deadly conspiracy is revealed behind the tournament. What initially appears to be a spectacular battle between skilled fighters becomes a much more dangerous situation. Ryu and Ken are eventually forced to confront one another while also dealing with the darkness of their own pasts.
Akuma adds another powerful dimension to this world. Played by Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i, he is one of the film’s major fighters alongside the central trio. The movie also features a large ensemble of familiar Street Fighter characters, including M. Bison, Guile, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Zangief, E. Honda, Cammy, and Blanka.
