Set in the quiet district of Chiang Khan in Loei Province, Delusion begins when a child disappears and an old fear returns to the community. The disappearance revives the legend of Phii Pong, while suspicion falls on Narong, an elderly man whose worsening dementia makes him an easy target for the villagers' accusations. His daughter Wan refuses to accept the rumors and tries to prove that her father is a sick man rather than the monster people believe him to be. At the same time, Pete, a detective newly transferred from Bangkok, approaches the case through evidence rather than superstition. As the investigation develops, the mystery becomes increasingly tangled with family secrets, buried memories, folklore, and uncertainty over what is actually real. The series deliberately moves between crime investigation, psychological mystery, supernatural possibilities, and family drama, making the characters' reactions to fear, loyalty, evidence, and uncertainty central to the story.
