Milkha Singh was born on 20 November 1929 and died on June 18, 2021. People call Milkha Singh as the “Flying Sikh." He was a track-and-field athlete who represented India. Milkha Singh is the first Indian athlete who reached the Olympic finals. In 1960, Olympic Games held in Rome, Milkha Singh secured the fourth position in the 400-meter race.
Milkha Singh was also a junior commissioned officer in one of the Indian Armed forces.
