Christopher Alvin Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer, born on April 15, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2001, where he signed with Sea Gayle Music and co-wrote six number-one country songs. Stapleton sang lead in two bands before starting his solo career with the critically acclaimed album Traveller (2015), which was certified four-times platinum by RIAA. He has since released three more studio albums and has won eight Grammy Awards, 10 ACM Awards, and 14 CMA Awards.
