In addition to be a comic book author, television host, actor, editor, publisher, and voice actor, Stanley Martin Lieber was a media producer and publisher. As an office boy for Marvel Comics, he brought lunch, proofread, and refilled artists' ink jars, eventually demonstrating his creative talent. He was promoted to the position of interim editor and was named company president.
Career:
1939: A big step in Lee's career came in 1939 when he joined Timely Comics. His debut as a comic-book writer came with 'Captain America Foils the Traitor's Revenge', a text filler.
After 1941: Lee started getting opportunities to write comics with backup features. In the issue of Mystic Comics No. 6, he created the Destroyer and created Jack Frost in the issue of USA Comics.
1942 to 1945: As a Signal Corps officer in the United States Army, he served stateside.
1950: As soon as Lee finished his service with the army, he returned to the company, now known as Atlas Comics. His writing included romance, science fiction, horror, comedy, and other genres.
The publisher of Lee's comic book series, Goodman, asked him to develop a new superhero team in competition with DC Comics in the late 1950s.
With Peter Paul, Lee and Lee started Stan Lee Media, an Internet-based studio that creates, produces, and markets superheroes.
