Willem Maurits De Bruyn, was born on 4th August 1914 and died on 13th August 1989. As a result of his gender identity, he has both male and female sex organs. By the age of fourteen, he realized he wasn't like other girls his age, considering he was significantly taller and stronger. He was officially referred to by his parents as the daughter of his parents, but he grew significantly stronger and taller than other girls his age. In 1934, Willem became the first official women's world champion. In July 2019, he was honored by the naming of a street in Brussels.
