Geeta Phogat is a notorious freestyle wrestler in India. She got limelight when she won her first Gold Medal in Commonwealth for India. Geeta Phogat belongs to the Jatt family, and she started his training under the coach Mahavir Singh Phogat (father of Geeta Phogat), who is a Dhronacharya recipient. Geeta's younger sister Babita Kumari was also a commonwealth Gold Medallist, and she married notorious Wrestler Pawan Kumar.
