• Danielle Adams was selected 20th overall by the San Antonio Silver Stars in the 2011 WNBA draft. On June 11, 2011, she set the franchise's rookie record with 32 points against the Atlanta Dream. During June, she was also named Rookie of the Month.
• Danielle Adams was named as a reserve to the WNBA All-Star team along with Silver Stars teammate Becky Hammon for the 2011 game. Reserve players were selected by the twelve WNBA teams' head coaches; each coach cannot select their players.
• The WNBA suspended Danielle Adams for three games without pay on July 29, 2015, for violating the league's anti-drug policy. Her teammates and community were apologized to for her actions. The San Antonio Stars waived her in April 2016.
• During a training camp with the Connecticut Sun in February 2017, Adams signed a contract. The team named her to its final roster in April 2017.
