Steven Scott Harwell was born on January 9, 1967, and died on September 4, 2023. His profession was the singer. Harwell was Smash Mouth's lead vocalist and frontman from 1994 to 2021 when he retired. Until he left, he and bassist Paul De Lisle were the only two constants in the band. He died of acute liver failure in 2023.
