Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados. She began her music career in 2003 with her debut album Music of the Sun. Her second album A Girl like Me (2006) spawned the hit singles "SOS" and "Unfaithful". Rihanna's third album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) produced the worldwide hits "Umbrella", "Don't Stop the Music", "Take a Bow", and "Disturbia".Rihanna's love of singing was inspired by her grandmother who was a gospel singer.
