Kristian Bush was born on March 14, 1970. His career includes singing, composing, and producing records. He is a member of the country music duo Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles and the folk-rock duo Billy Pilgrim with Andrew Hyra. Bush has released one solo album as well as two albums with these groups through Streamsound Records. A 2015 game called My Singing Monsters also featured him.

• Kristian Bush formed Billy Pilgrim with Andrew Hyra in the early 1990s. Bush and Hyra met in Knoxville after Hyra moved there with his sister Annie to pursue music together.
• Kristian Bush and Hyra relocated to Atlanta and began to gain a following among the acoustic scene and songwriting community. Their names were occasionally used on Emory's campus before they chose a moniker.

• Kristian Bush co-founded Sugarland in 2002, signed with Mercury Records Nashville in 2004, and launched her country music career. More than 22 million albums have been sold worldwide, five No. 1 singles have been charted, and the band has won numerous awards.
• Sugarland officially reunited last year after a five-year hiatus and announced they were producing new music together at the 51st Annual Country Music Association Awards. In March 2018, they played their first full-band show at the C2C: Country to Country festival. Bigger, their sixth studio album, was released on June 8, 2019.
