Justin Drew Bieber is a singer from Canada. Justin Bieber was known for his ability to blend several genres, having a profound effect on contemporary popular music. When he secured a record deal with RBMG Records in 2008 after being found by American record executive Scooter Braun, he became famous after the publication of his debut seven-track EP, My World, in 2009. He gained popularity as a teen idol quickly. In 2010, Bieber became the youngest solo artist in 47 years to top the US Billboard 200 chart with his debut studio album, My World 2.0.

At Age 13: Braun and Bieber went to Atlanta, Georgia, to record demo tapes. A week afterward, Bieber began singing for Usher.
In 2008: Reid made Hicks the executive vice-president of Def Jam and signed Justin Bieber to Island Records.
In 2009: He released his first extended play, My World.
In 2010: His debut album My World 2.0 contained the hit single "Baby", which featured Ludacris.
In 2021: He released Freedom, a six-song gospel EP, by surprise.

In 2005: After Elvis Presley, he was the first musician to dethrone his own song from the top spot on the UK Singles Chart.
In 2012: A Diamond Jubilee medal was presented to Bieber by former Canadian PM Stephen Harper.
In 2013: The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has awarded Justin Bieber a Diamond award for the song "Baby".

One of the first of many singers to upload recordings of themselves singing on YouTube was Justin. His mother would frequently record him singing Chris Brown or Ne-yo songs, which led to Scooter Braun, a record executive, noticing him.
