Ferren "Coco" Lee was born on 17 January 1975 and died on 5 July 2023. She was a Hong Kong-born singer, songwriter, producer, dancer, and actress. She began her career in Hong Kong and later expanded to Taiwan and internationally. There have been 18 studio albums, two live albums, and five compilation albums released by Lee, including her first English-language album, Just No Other Way.

Coco Lee Career Beginnings And Sony Music: 1992–1998
• She returned to Hong Kong to look after her sisters and compete in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant after graduating high school in 1992. Her rendition of Whitney Houston's Run to You was the first runner-up at the 12th Annual New Talent Singing Awards.
• In 1996, she signed a contract with Sony Music Entertainment, and her succeeding album, Coco Lee, was Asia's top-selling record.
• She released two albums in 1997, one in Mandarin and one in Cantonese.
Coco Lee International Collaborations And English Debut: 1998–2005
• She performed "Colors" for the opening of the Soccer World Cup and "The Answer" (answer) for Bishonen, a Chinese movie.
• Coco performed in Taiwan in August 1998 to a concert audience of over 30,000 fans, the second largest concert audience in Taiwan after Michael Jackson. Also, she performed at Michael Jackson's "Michael Jackson and Friends" charity concert.
Coco Lee Second English Album And Warner Music: 2005–2011
• Her second English album, Exposed, was released by Sony BMG in 2005. A few songs on the album, such as Touch or So Good, contained sexy lyrics.
• She performed Dreams on Oriental Seas (Dreams on the Eastern Seas) with Sun Nan on 7 April 2011. In 2011, it served as the theme for the 14th FINA world championships held in Shanghai.
Coco Lee New Album: 2011–2023
Lee announced on 8 June 2011 that she would be opening her studio. She performed the theme song for the 2011 Chinese television drama All men are brothers (Water Margin) on 25 June.
Coco Lee's Personal Life
Lee married Canadian Bruce Rockowitz on 27 October 2011 in Hong Kong. Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, and Ne-Yo performed at the Jewish ceremony. She registered the song "I just wanna marry you" (Chinese and English versions), released on 24 October 2011. Her husband's previous marriage resulted in two adult stepdaughters.
Coco Lee Death
She attempted suicide on 2 July 2023 and was brought to Queen Mary Hospital unconscious. Three days later, on 5 July 2023, she died at the hospital.
