Todd Young (born August 24, 1972 in Lancaster, PA) is a fifth generation Hoosier who serves as U.S. Senator from Indiana since 2017. A Naval Academy graduate and former Marine Corps captain, he earned an MBA from University of Chicago, an MA from University of London, and a law degree from IU Indianapolis. Todd served three terms in the U.S. House before his victorious 2016 Senate campaign against Evan Bayh. Known as “Bulldog” on the soccer field, he built a reputation as a bipartisan statesman sponsoring the CHIPS & Science Act and infrastructure legislation. Todd sits on committees covering finance, foreign relations, commerce, and intelligence. Married to Jenny, he lives in Johnson County with their four children.
