Kelly Dawn Craft was born on February 24, 1962. From 2019 to 2021, she was the 30th United States Ambassador to the United Nations for President Donald Trump. She is an American businesswoman, donor, philanthropist, politician, and former diplomat. Her appointment as US ambassador to the UN was confirmed by the US Senate 56–34, and she was officially sworn in in September 2019. Her credentials were formally presented to UN Secretary-General António Guterres on September 12, 2019.
