John Anthony Barrasso III was born on July 21, 1952. In 2002, John Anthony Barrasso was elected to the state Senate. Here, John stayed until his appointment to the U.S. Senate after the 2007 death of incumbent Craig L. Thomas. In 2021, Barrasso becomes the chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, the third-ranking position in the Senate Republican leadership.
